The Pines (Buckland Ridge)

This site is closed. Nov 2013: The pines site is no longer available to fly. Nearby Eagle Rise is only flyable for the local schools, closed to free flyers. Check with the locals for current status. Murmungee a few km to the east can offer an alternative.

Large inland ridge.

Takeoff

Open grassy ground ramp, suitable for hang gliders and paragliders.

Landing

The old Pines landing paddock is not available anymore. Please do not land here as doing so will endanger site negotiations.

Flight

Controlled airspace exists over launch C LL 4500. You must check current Albury VTC or Melbourne VNC for any changes.
